“Hero?” at Monologue Festival

So You Want To Be A Hero?
That is both the title and the overarching question of my personal-mythological solo show about computer games, self-knowledge, the relationship between reality and fiction and the simple fact of being in the world.

The premiere of the performance (which was 10 years in the making) was on the 14th of April this year during the Norwegian Storytelling Festival, and now it’s ready for the stage anew. As part of the program ofThe Monologue Festival at Haugesund Theatre in Norway on the 16th of November.

At The Monologue Festival you can see three other fantastic shows:

The two first shows and mine have one thing in common – birth helper Aslak Moe, dramaturge and director specializing in autobiographical monologues.

He also directs my dear colleague Anette Sandvær’s show The Elephant.

I’m looking forward to attend the festival, to see the other performances and to show my love child So You Want To Be A Hero? again.

Below are some photos from the premiere (all photos: Tanja Steen) and a link to buy tickets.
